Final Reflection:
Experience: Packaging and merchandising design has been a great collaborative and individual experience. I enjoyed physically making the packaging for the exercises. I think the Happy Meal project was also a great experience and opportunity for us to be creative and have the freedom to design something we are interested in and also make it educational. The group work projects also went really well and I had a lot of fun with my group mates in the process.
Observations: I liked seeing how the designing process of Okashi happened. From not even having a clear idea of the product to a full brand with merchandise was a very rewarding process. I liked seeing all the ideas my group mates came up with and how our discussions flowed in order to better our ideas.
Findings: I found myself enjoying being back on campus and physical classes. We also go the opportunity to visit the Food Sciences lab and try their products. I found that I really missed that having been online for the past 2 years. It was nice to have Mr Shamsul back and overall I found this module to be quite insightful and full of valuable information.
