Project #3:
We started by coming up with some pattern ideas from the logo.

We all tried to do a mockup with a pattern. I picked the point of purchase display.

Feedback:
Week #13: Mr Shamsul liked the Okashi polka dot style pattern. However, once we applied it to some of the merchandise, we agreed as a group that it was not quite going with our brand profile. We decided to try one of Janice's flower patterns and felt it was better suited to our minimal Japanese aesthetic.
Week #14: Mr Shamsul was fine with the new pattern and said that our work is good for submission.
Reflection:
Experience: I had a great experience with this project. My group mates and I worked really hard and some of our ideas were pretty creative and cool. Overall, working with like-minded and creative teammates has made this experience more enjoyable.
Observations: It was nice to see the brand come together with all the merchandise. I observed that we came up with cool concepts by bouncing our ideas off each other and discussing the mockups we were planning to do.
Findings: I found that this project was a bit similar to some of our other modules so it was good to have the background experience. However, obviously, it was definitely more focused on packaging and we had to really think our merchandise through.
