Final reflection:

Typography has not been an easy module. I struggled most with this module as evident in my previous reflections. However, this module has been the one to most influence me and change my perspectives. I have started to look at text and typography in a completely different way and actually appreciate it. I used to not understand why typography was so important in expressing a message but ever since this module I have done a complete 180. I am more aware of how typographical elements add so much to piece of design and how well thought out it needs to be in order to make an impact. It's easier to express your message through illustration and graphics and expressing your message through typography is certainly a form of great art.

I have definitely learnt a lot about typography but at the same time I feel like I have a very long way to go before I can truly master and appreciate it. Mr. Vinod and Mr. Shamsul have been quite helpful but they've always tried to not spoon feed us. Although that made a hard subject even harder but our accomplishments meant a lot more that way.

Thank you Mr. Vinod and Mr. Shamsul,
