Lectures:

Mr Shamsul introduced us to our final project which is to create a multipage website on a topic of our choice. It needs to use Bootstrap and be responsive.

I started working on a landing page layout to show for next week's class. I prepared an image like a sort of preview for my art to add on the left side and then my description on the left.

However, after receiving feedback from Mr Shamsul, I decided to change the layout of my page and come up with some new elements. I decided to use a smiley face because it is something I use in a lot of my art and design works so I drew one out in the style I wanted.

However, reflecting back on the feedback I was given, I did not want it to just be basic in the middle of the website so I decided to try and see if I can make constantly spin. I also decided my background was a bit plain just beige so I decided to add a gradient as well.

The spinning was also responsive and compatible with smaller screens because of Bootstrap.

I did not like the colour or the theme so I changed some stuff and added images that fit my theme better.

I liked the new layout much better so I uploaded it onto netlify, ready for submission.

Feedback:

Week #12: Mr Sham and Mr Lun said that my proposal was okay but I just need to be a bit more clear on what content I will have on the website because my wireframe sketches were a bit unclear.

Week #13: Mr Shamsul said that my layout was looking okay but it was a bit basic and maybe I could try and make it a bit different or exciting.

Reflection:

Week #12: I think this project will be quite challenging and I am a bit anxious as to what to expect. I need to work on my proposal a bit more and then begin the coding.

Week #13: I do see that my layout is a bit bland and I am looking for more inspiration to come up with something interesting.

Week #14: I really like the rotating circle I think it makes the website more eye catching.

Final Reflection: Interactive Design has been quite a challenging journey. From not understanding anything in the beginning of the semester to being able to create my own multi page website. I have learnt a lot about web design and how important good web design is by reviewing good and bad websites. I have also learnt about website responsiveness and all the various resources available to help. Since I am doing Graphic Design I have Advanced Interactive Design next semester and I am quite anxious about that but hopefully I'll get through just like I did with Interactive Design.
