Instructions:

For this project, we have to create a surrealist dream like composition and then animate it using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. To start off we had to create a static composition. Mr Fauzi told us that for this project it is very important to stay organised and make sure we label everything properly.  

I wanted to create quite a dreamy effect so I came up with this draft composition in photoshop.

Mr. Fauzi said the composition was good but I should make myself bigger in it so I decided to do that when I animate. I followed his instructions when animating. I opened the composition in After Effects and animated the layers in the way he had showed us.

The video had to be 15 seconds long because it is supposed to be an Instagram story.

The next part was to add an audio. I picked a soft piano piece because the video was slow and calm so a loud or fast audio wouldn't work.

Feedback: The general feedback from Mr. Fauzi was good. He liked the overall standard of work from the class. He gave feedback to people regarding the audio and video. This was quite helpful also to see what he corrected in other peoples work.

Reflection: This project was the first time I had used After Effects and I was quite nervous because it is such a complex and high level editing software but Mr. Fauzi showed us step by step on how to use it so that was very helpful. Overall, I am happy with what I have produced I think it is definitely my kind of style of art.
