Project 2B: Cyborg
Instructions:
We had to turn ourselves into a cyborg for this project. I started off by brainstorming some ideas.
Fig 1.1: Brainstorm
Mr. Martin liked the idea so then I went ahead and took a few pictures of myself.
Fig 1.2: My pictures
Mr. Martin gave us tutorials to help us in doing this project. We followed along with him. The first one was to add an artificial limb and skin to a woman.

In his next practical, we did another practice of artificial skin.

I then looked for some pictures of wires that I could use for my work since my composition was that wires would be coming out of my hands.

Fig 1.9: First attempt
After showing this to Mr. Martin, he said the quality of the picture was not the best and I should try and retake it.
Fig 2.0: Second attempt at pictures
I opened my file on photoshop and started adding all the effects.
Fig 2.1: Layers
I adjusted the hue/saturation to exaggerate the blue tones of the picture to emphasise the AI environment. I also used the bevel and emboss feature that we learnt in class to create the fake skin

Feedback: Mr. Martin said my idea was good I just need to execute it better and change the design of my lines needed a bit of work. After I changed my picture he said that the new one was better and the quality was much better too.
Reflection: I think I was quite well prepared for this project because Mr. Martin has shown us many tutorials in class on how we can achieve various different cyborg effects. I enjoyed doing this because there was quite a bit of creative freedom so we were able to do what we wanted and manipulate it in any way we want.
